Portraits from Leesylvania State Park, Virginia. These were created at sunrise with one Profoto B100 strobe light and a 4" octo softbox.

Portraits in a lavendar field. These were created in early afternoon with three tethered speedlites and a shoot-through umbrella.

Portraits at Fort Smallwood, Maryland. These were created with two tethered speedlites and a shoot-through umbrella.
Brianna
Seasonal portrait at Fort Meade, Maryland. Two Profoto strobes were used with a 4’x4’ and 4’x1’ softbox. Brown and black attire was chosen to compliment the fall folliage.
Enoch & Linda
This is a couples portrait during snowfall. Two speedlights and an umbrella were used as key light and backlight. Black attire was chosen to contrast with the snow.
Nathan & Arcadia
This is a couples portrait in summer at Manassas Battlefield, Virginia. One Profoto 500-watt strobe was used as key light and the sun was used as a backlight.
120 Millimeter Film
Black and white photographs taken with a Mamiya C330, using 120mm film. The Mamiya C330 is a professional-grade twin lens reflex camera introduced in the 1960s. Given the same apurture and framing, the 120mm film ofers a shallower depth of field than a 35mm camera.
Studio
The photography studio allows me to control and manipulate lighting and backgrounds to create a specific look. I use various light sources, such as flash units, continuous lights, and modifiers like softboxes, umbrellas, and reflectors, to shape the light as desired
Brady Farm
Brady Farm, located in Syracuse, NY, is an initiative of the Brady Faith Center, established with the goal of integrating urban farming into the fabric of the community to provide nutritious foods, employment, and education that benefits the body, mind, and spirit of local residents.
Alaska
Editorial photographs from the Reindeer Farm in Palmer, Alaska. The farm is a unique and family-run operation that provides a variety of seasonal tours and activities centered around its main attraction: the reindeer.
Mount Rogers
Photographs at Mount Rogers, Virginia. Mount Rogers National Recreation Area is known for its highland meadows or “balds”. The ponies help maintain the balds by grazing, which prevents the area from reverting to forest.
Military Photojournalism
Photographs from my time in service as a Visual Information Specialist documenting military operations. Photographs were taken in austere environments, under challenging and hazardous conditions. Imagery was used for intelligence, historical records, and public affairs.
